Our client, a leading supplier in the food & drink industry, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic and collaborative team. With operations spanning across the UK, Germany, and beyond, this is your chance to play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless movement of products globally.

 

The Role:

 

* Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including import/export by air, sea, and road for global and domestic shipments.

* Collaborate with the logistics manager and a close-knit team to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products.

* Act as a liaison between the UK-based operations and international colleagues, particularly the German office.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant post-Brexit customs regulations and documentation requirements.

* Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to maintain high client satisfaction and smooth communication.

* Address logistical challenges proactively and adapt to the dynamic nature of food product transportation.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

 

* Proven experience in logistics, with a strong focus on import/export operations.

* Familiarity with customs processes and post-Brexit regulatory changes.

* Expertise in handling perishable goods or food products is highly desirable.

* Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and advanced Excel skills.

* Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* A team player with a positive attitude, capable of thriving under pressure.

* Knowledge of the food or beverage industry is a plus but not essential.
