Location - Cologne, Germany with travel to Italy & France (Hybrid Working)

 

Are you an experienced B2B and B2C, Strategic Digital Marketing Manager currently working within the European travel and aviation sector? Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role supporting commercial teams in Germany, France and Italy?

 

They now require a strategic digital marketing specialist to become their European Marketing Manager, based in Germany, to continue to support their ambitious commercial growth plans across Europe.

 

Your primary focus will be increasing lead volume and achieving set revenue targets through the deployment of various strategies. You will work closely with Commercial Sales teams across Germany, France, and Italy to ensure that your digital marketing strategies are driving traffic to the website, to the sales team and most importantly raising brand awareness about our client's brand and solutions to the travel and aviation sector.

 

To succeed in this role, you must have a proven track record of linking marketing to ROI numbers and devising and adapting digital marketing strategies using analytical and qualitative information. You will need to be able to actively chase leads through marketing, from content creation to conversion rate optimisation and ultimately to bottom lines sales.

 

One of the key responsibilities of this role is managing relationships with external agencies to get the most out of analytics and reports. You will be responsible for digging into reports to determine which campaigns are working and which are not converting into leads. As such, you'll work closely with the commercial sales team to optimise the entire process. Therefore, you must have experience working with analytics and (ideally) be comfortable using Salesforce Cloud for email marketing.

 

Our client has invested heavily in PPC and affiliate marketing, so experience developing new affiliate campaigns and creating campaign content and structure will be essential.

 

This role will also involve creating and arranging for content creation, including market analysis for each country, and working closely with the sales team to understand the stages of the B2B and B2C client journey. As such, you must have experience in performance marketing and growth marketing, particularly in creating promotional and educational content for non-mainstream products tailored to different audiences in different countries.

 

In addition, experience of PR either directly or with the support of a specialist PR agency will be critical to success, ensuring that our client's product is featured in the most popular and relevant magazines and media to raise brand awareness amongst its target demographic and audience.

 

Experience of event marketing in relation to travel and aviation industry exhibitions and conferences will be incredibly useful.

 

This role will require someone who can be both strategic and also hands on as you will be joining a small, close knit and friendly pan European team within a business experiencing dynamic growth.
