Are you ready to spearhead an exhilarating new venture in one of the fastest-growing industries in Germany? Martin Veasey Talent Solutions is delighted to offer an outstanding career opportunity within the dynamic vaping sector for a visionary Head of Wholesale Sales. This role is not just a job; it's a chance to significantly shape the market landscape in Germany. Our client is one of the fastest growing businesses in the UK and Europe with ambitious plans for further expansion.

The Role:

This crucial position is based in Frankfurt and offers the unique challenge of developing a comprehensive sales network across Germany for our client's wholesale vaping products business. Your remit will be to develop key strategic partnerships in line with business goals. To succeed in this role, it is anticipated that you will already be working in the B2B wholesale or retail vaping and tobacco sector and will therefore demonstrate a thorough knowledge of sales processes in the German vaping or cigarette and tobacco market.

Ultimately, your objective will be to develop and maintain successful relationships with large, nationally distributed customers and key independent vaping stores.

You will recruit, train and lead four Area Sales Managers to oversee territories from bustling urban hubs like Berlin and Hamburg to the vibrant streets of Munich and Dusseldorf. With your strategic prowess, you will expand our client's footprint, starting on the west near Frankfurt, progressing north towards Dortmund, and finally towards the Munich region.

Imagine being at the forefront of a new market segment, implementing ground-breaking sales campaigns and strategies that blend market research with direct B2B sales engagement.

Your role will bridge the gap between new market opportunities and tangible business results, focusing initially on wholesale channels before exploring exciting franchise options.

You'll manage and mentor a dedicated Field Sales Team and play a pivotal role alongside marketing and product development colleagues to research new market opportunities and launch new products, whilst also negotiating contracts and closing deals with large customers. You will also work closely with supply chain colleagues ensuring efficient logistics and setting up robust product supply systems to revolutionise the German vape market.

About You:

If you possess a deep understanding of the German wholesale market, a rich background in B2B sales within the tobacco or vaping industry, and a proven track record of developing successful sales teams, as a national or regional sales manager, we want to hear from you. Experience the professional satisfaction of translating market potential into real success, helping shape industry trends, and achieving ambitious growth targets.

Fluency in both English and German will be a prerequisite for this role. You will be educated to university degree level in business, commercial sales or similar.

This role can be located from the Frankfurt, Munich or Dortmund region. It is national and field based with a home office set up.

The Offer:

* Salary: Up to €85,000 (Dependent on Experience) per annum

* Company Car with Fuel Card

* Lucrative Commission Structure

* Flexibility: Field-based role with IT support to facilitate remote working setups

* Future Prospects: Potential for setting up a dedicated German office based on business growth.
